Presentation boxes

Was contracted to build some presentation boxes for a local company for their new tool line. They are bringing production of a locking pliers back to USA (DeWitt, NE to be exact- where the original Vise Grips were made.)

I made ten boxes for the first ten pliers produced. The linked news story contains a video with NE governor Pete Ricketts receiving a commemorative pliers.

It is NOT Irwin. They’ve junked them out terribly. (I can twist them in my hand. Pathetic.) This is Malco, an Annandale, MN company. They are bringing an American made competitor to the market.

Will they find a market for more expensive (yet -hopefully- quality made locking pliers? Let’s hope so.)
