This year's puzzle for the nieces and nephews had 26 pieces.

There are 22 nieces and nephews, but I always make more than necessary because I don't know how many pieces will get "spoiled" during the process.

This year the target was 42 puzzles.  There were no pieces "spoiled".

That means I made 1,092 puzzle pieces this year.

Guns are supposed to be dangerous. If yours is not dangerous you need to take it to a gunsmith and have it repaired.

I just don't have the patience to do that anymore.

I wouldn't go back in the shop for a year if I did that.

I get that. Never do anything in the shop that you are uncomfortable with.

I tend to focus on the task first. I often have to rewind a bit and re-listen to sections of the book if I lose focus.

Finished trays. Some are finished with water based poly, others with oil based varnish, and four have epoxy coating on the tray floor.
