What to do with Quarter Sawn Cherry
#16
Thanks for all the replies and suggestions! The material is 3/4" thick and has been planned smooth. I will wipe with some paint thinner and see what it looks like.

I have considerable quilted maple (also $2.00 bd/ft at estate sale ) and may combine that with the cherry. I made a nightstand with quilted maple drawers left natural color and the carcass/legs are cherry.

Anyone know when that was published (or close to when)? I have all copies of FWW except nos. 7 & 8

I’d build a quality Noah’s Ark with it, boy oh boy that’ll be the Cat’s Meow. https://www.toymakingplans.com/website/P...n-ark.html

QSC is great for door frames. Less likely to warp.
