Having sold my miter saw I am now contemplating mounting the planer on the MSUV. The question is can a Dewalt 735 be stored on its side like that? Anything going to drain out or fall out of alignment?
TIA
Thanks, Curt

I have a DW-735 on a flip-top stand. The only issue I have encountered is that it will not hold the Allen wrench that fits in the top. I'm not sure if this applies to you, but the 735 is pretty heavy. I have a Ridgid Oscillating sander on the other side of the flip-top. It is manageable because the 735's weight is very low-slung compared to the other.

I have stored my 735 upside down on a pivot stand, under my outfeed table, ever since they first hit the market. No problems so far.
