Two disclaimers and a question. First I'm a rank amateur at leatherworking so this is more a what I did than what you should do. Second I'm not actually cutting any wood in this. So that brings us to the question whether people actually want to see this thread or not? I am making a holster for my lie Nielsen block plane. For a hand tool with hand tools but not out of wood.

I will make a post or two and see if there is interest-

First thing I did was wet formed the leather. There are some great videos online on how to do this.

Leather takes forever to dry. Next time I will move it in front of the air source faster.

Used dividers to make an even mark and cut out the top part of the holster.

Also scored a line for some reinforcements stiching.
