I am re-building my mobile SCMS station and thinking about the FastCap Chop Saw Hood. I tried hooking up my Fein II shop vac. But most of the dust still gets all over the back side of the saw area.
Anyone have one? Hooking up my DC would be difficult

Build your own hood? I did.
Fein II, which I have one dedicated to a 6" ROS, isn't big enough for a miter saw's 1-1/2" collection tube.
I have a 6" pipe running to my SCMS station's homebuilt hood, hooked to my dust/chip collector

Steve, what did you use for the frame work? The material for the hood, does it need to be a slippery (smooth) material?

I just used 3/4 ply offcuts. Rectangular in shape. Mounted to the wall behind the saw.
