Fret-Saw /Coping Saw

Just wanted to add these pics in case any of you haven't seen the blade attachment mechanism that Blue Spruce puts on their new coping and fret saws. Both priced at $325, but the mechanism Dave came up with is quite nice, and is his words on his IG feed:

"it is all my own design. You can tension the blade and also rotate it different positions while the blade is still under tension. It can "free scroll" or be locked into eight presets,at 45 degree increments."

DISCLAIMER: I don't have any affiliation with Blue Spuce, just a happy customer. If this is not tool porn, I don't know what is. I have a weak spot for fine tooling.

Cheers,
Alan

Hmmm....$325 would buy me a LOT of Ash, and/or Curly Maple....instead.   And, I can get more use out of the supply of lumber.... Cool
Show me a picture, I'll build a project from that

When words alone fail, pictures can help greatly. But I always remember the advice from one master writer: If something is misinterpreted or misunderstood, the fault lies with the writer, not with the reader.

Anyone who disagrees with such advice, tell me how you loved the last user manual you read.
