locating hardware parts

I am trying to help a friend with a problem. They loaned a crib to a friend and when it was returned the bolts were all missing and they are specialty bolts from what I can tell.

The rails that support the bed frame and Mattress have holes about 5/8" drilled into their faces, that hole is then intersected with a bolt that comes through the rail on the ends of the bed to hold it all together.

Unlike many of the manufactured furniture items that have cam style inserts this one appears to be threaded because the bolts that come in from the ends had larger heads on them from the marks.

What are these called and what would a source be for them??

I will try to take some pictures and post them but I'm not real good at that process.

That would work if they were 5/8" big and the ones I see are all about 1/4".

Did you look at the link that Hank provided to Lee Valley? They are 5/8. (Correction, they are 9/16 and fit in a 5/8 hole)

Thanks, I had missed that link but not what I need. The side rails are only 34 think particle board so the bolt would be overkill. They look know normal sized screws.

Are pictures easy to attach?
