is another's treasure. Growing up in the depression, my dad was
a hoarder. Apple did not fall far from the tree. I always have an eye out
for ....anything that can be used.......and free. Ride my bike past a house remodel.
New roof that had lots of irregular pieces.
Chip board....it's not just for breakfast anymore.
I make all kinds of stuff w/left over chip board.
Needed some plant hangers for my bucket tomatoes. Marigolds and Thai basil
to keep the bugs away. Needed custom build to fit my fence.
Passed final inspection for CO.

Neat on the pot hangers.
I'm kind of the same on saving stuff and using what I have. My Father hoarded also.
I can't work at a jobsite without picking up the electricians scrap 12/3 wire..the framers have left a used box of framing nails that are sitting out getting rained on......the painters that left a dozen perfectly good used 5 gallon buckets......half a roll of concrete wire that was shoved aside when they formed the floors (Cheap tomato cages).
And yes, the wood scraps. If I don't use them, I can at least burn them in the woodstove.

I think your concept is cool.
However, how long do you think chipboard will last in the elements?

While I was still at pic 2, I thought you were making some easels, stands or frames!

I was going to say the same thing. I love the idea tho.
