Saturday Blue light Specials..Planes
#2
First up is an E.C. Simmons  Keen kutter KK4..A very old plane as witnessed by the key hole in the iron. It is "upside down" by more modern standards,. I have owned it for many years...excellent condition for it's age {over 100yrs}..Looks like a full length iron. Has rosewood tote and a low rosewood knob both good condition..It may have been made by the Ohio Tool Company for Simmons Hardware but not sure..The iron is slightly tapered by about 15thou so I may be laminated with hard steel edge..It is sharp.

Next is a Horn plane made by Peugeot Freres of France, a quality tool maker ..super sharp hard steel iron..Wood may be Hornbeam but not sure...measures 10" long and 2 5/8" wide...Stamped on the end at 18MM. which I presume is the width of the iron..In very good to excellent condition and priced at $35.00 plus flat rate shipping..This is a good user.....Both planes USA sale only...Paypal only..Thanks for looking.
