Stain acceptance/blend problem
#3
I have a solid fir six panel door. Stain/finishing with Hemp Shield: an oil/water base formula treatment.

Two panels have been, apparently, over sanded. That is, whereas the the panel had grain ridges, these have been sanded smooth in two spots. These spots do not accept the stain and ... well you can see in the attached photo.

Suggestion on how best to create an even color blend in these panels, will be appreciated.

I think it's going to be easier and turn out better to strip and sand the top surface of those panels, then restain, than to try and blend in the light spots to match the rest.
