Based on what you said you did, if not abused, it should last another lifetime. I would only suggest one more thing. where the drawer bottom slides under the drawer back, you might consider replacing or supplementing the nails with some small screws; particularly if you have anything heavy in the drawers. Since the bottoms are plywood, there should be no expansion/contraction issues.

Sounds like a solved problem. But for the sake of wasting time, here's another idea if you really wanted to make it last forever:

Hardwood boxjoint extensions. Maybe the extension should be deeper than what's shown, but you get the idea.

Sorry for the double post, I just saw this thread's tab still open in my browser and realized a mistake. One would actually have to cut all sides and have two extensions per corner. So, a bit of work.
