Received a delivery from Ron Bontz. I had a look at these mallets online but you really have to hold one in your hand to really appreciate the quality and attention to detail. The scribe is a rather nice thing as well.

Thank you for the kind words. The next batch of shorter mallets will hopefully be ambrosia maple as well as curly.
