This video demonstrates how to make a wooden sleeve to hold a gift card.  The last few minutes of the video shows how he made a jig to speed the process and batch them out.

That' a clever gift, I like it a lot.
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.
