*update* tips for consistent repeatable double bridle joint

Glad it worked for you and thanks for posting back, so if someone finds this later, they will know it works.  I make stretchers for canvas paintings for a friend, and the bridle joint is perfect, but I make a few at a time, then a month or two goes by before another one ,  and I always have trouble remembering when to take the shim on and when to take it off.  The results are either perfect, or way off if you screw up on when to use the shim.
