How do you like having your router built into your out feed table?

I've often thought about doing that with my out feed to help save shop space plus, it's such big area it would lend lots of material support for larger pieces.

I'd be curious to see what your pro's and con's are.

looking forward to part 2.

I had a stand alone router table that I sold to a fellow WN'er.  It was just taking up space that I could save by implementing it into the out feed.  My old out feed used to be 7' wide, but with the new one, I took 2' off it and made it 5' x 4'.  Allows me to stand between the wall and table.  Since I can easily attach my Incra fence with threaded inserts, I don't have the fence on there all the time therefore it's never in the way for table saw use.

Really for me, I have no drawbacks to having it in the out feed.

BTW, part 2 is already out there.  Just need to scroll down to find it....
