Cool, wish it was closer. Does that look bigger than 8" to anyone else?
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.

Pics can be deceiving but it looks bigger than 8" to me,

Related question back in the 70's when I was in high school, our 8" delta/rockwell jointers both had the same type of guards that the Crescent for sale jointer has. Until now I've never seen them again. What are they called and does anyone have any info about them?

I've seen them referred to as "finger guard" and "European Guard". I seem to recall someone said on some European tools sold in the US you can choose between them and the porkchop type.

Yes, it does look like its more like a 12 inch jointer from the picture.

I've got one -- it has a 12" cutter head but the table is 16" wide.  Looks like a Byrd head would fit nicely.
