Cordless mower
#4
I just picked up a Kobalt cordless self propelled mower from Lowes on sale for $299 originally $599 and with my military discount came to $288.  Now waiting for the battery to charge up so my LOML can see how it works.  She was having a hard time starting the old Lawn Boy.  Being 70 sure sucks.

Yeah, but it's a darn sight better than NOT being 70.
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.

My wife loves our Ego cordless (apparently I don’t mow in straight lines).
No gas, oil, plugs, carb.
Only weighs 50 pounds and with the handle as a lever,  takes about ten pounds of force to tip on its front wheels for storage. Also makes blade sharpening a breeze.
Our yard is just shy of 1/4 acre and just barely finishes in one charge.

At $288, a good investment!
