The newest Rikon 14" has upgraded blade guides compared to some of their prior versions.

I recently saw that the 14" powermatic was on sale for 1k, i would pick that over the Jet.

If resawing is a primary concern something lager than 14" would be the way to go.

If space, power supply, and easy shop access, are not an issue find an old delta or powermatic 20"
