Hinge with tension?
#5
Hi, I’m working on a project and need a couple of hinges that have a little tension. I don’t want the pieces to swing too freely. It’s a fairly large item so they’d need to be larger than a typical cabinet hinge.  Any suggestions are welcome.  Thanks!

If you can find a loose pin hinge that will work for you just remoe the pin and bend it a little or a lot depending on your needs. WE always did this for full size interior doors and it works great

If I understand your question correctly, you want a "friction hinge".  They are available in many sizes (and some of them are quite expensive).

Amazon sells some too.

Great.  Both ideas are good!  Thanks!
