Way back when C band satellite dishes were new I had one that would drop out whe the temp went below 32 F.  I ended up covering the LNA with a 5 gallon bucket with a 40 watt light bulb inside that kept it warm enough even at 10 F.  I did call the lna company and complain about it and they told me they test them to 150F but did not think about below freezing as they were in California.  Yeah I know west coast idiots.
