Looking for ideas for a contractor saw
If you made a rolling base which puts the saw on the ground when the casters are disengaged, please post pics.

This guy posted a great design on YouTube. He sells plans for $8 but if you watch the video till the end, he's very generous in showing the construction details.

I'll second Ohio Mike's comment about this design. I seen this a couple years ago and used it to make a mobile base for a jointer at a retirement community woodshop where I volunteer.
No plans available at that time but easy enough to construct from his video.

I built many rolling bases in my early years. All worked great but after years of use they all had issues. I used wood inserted into rails, tubing etc. I recently retired and downsized our home and I have a garage workshop. I bought a Grizzly G0771Z tablesaw and the T 28000 mobile base. This mobile base for the money is worth every penny. The pedals on each side works flawlessly. It went up in price since I bought it but I think it worth it. It will adjust to the size you need.
