I got the Veritas in the mail the other day. This is the second new plane I've ever owned (first is a 92 shoulder I got for Christmas) and must say it's the nicest I've owned, too!
To test it I mounted my dado stack (that cuts a terribly un-flush bottom) and plowed a dado and a groove.
Man, this thing is a PLEASURE to use. Why did I wait so long to buy it? I have a feeling I'll be reaching for this thing a lot in the coming years.
