Might be a motion detector for an alarm system or part of one....

why is the cover off? is there any kind of a brand name or model number on it anywhere?

<p>It’s a motion detector. Most likely not wired to anything, uses r.f. You should be able to pop the circuit board and get at the mounting screws to remove it.</p><p><br></p><p>It might be a Bosch DS820</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
