repair garage slab
#12
Where in SF area are you? out here in Concord I'm noticing the same thing happening. Fortunately, it's only the driveway so far, but I can see some hairline cracks in the garage. The backyard patio has sunk about 3 inches in the past 6-7 years, only on the inner edge where it butts another patio section. The driveway cracking has gotten noticeably worse over the past several months. I'm blaming the drought and the continued shrinkage of the crappy adobe soils out here. I'm hoping to be moving out of this house before I have to replace the driveway. Although at the rate it's going now, it will be another year or two before it will have to be done. I'm hoping it rains again and the soil moisture can correct itself, but I'm not holding my breath.
