Issue with my PC Omnijig

Hi, I've been using it for years and it has never let me down....until now.  Take a look at the picture and you'll see at one end there's a gap at the top of the pin and at the other end there's a gap @ the bottom of a few pins.

My stops are set correctly, the depth of the bit is set correctly, the boards are true, flat and square.  The template is snug down against my board.

What could be causing this to happen?

I have the PC some-numbered jig (4112?) that was quite popular... and mine were always like that no matter what I did.  And I fiddled with it many. many times over the years.

So no help... but I feel 'ya.
