I'll be making a custom display case and I will want to put decorative figured appliques on it in cherry. what is a good source?

Van Dykes Restorers has a pretty good selection, and they are a top notch company to deal with, at least IME.
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.
