just ran into this with a post a few days ago, about cockbeading a veneered drawer front, thought it was two words and got ****, but single word okay. Jeff Headley, 4th generation Virginia cabinet maker, who was chief cabinet maker for White House, & whose brother was Williamsburg cabinet maker, Jeff will never say cockbeading, but say cogbeading. His mother could not bring herself to say cockbeading, so she invented her own word, now used in their circles.
