How do I post a photo from Flikr?
#5
I'm not sure what happened.  I used to upload the photo to Flikr, open it in my photostream, click the share arrow, BB Code and copy everything between the tags.

Now, Flikr wont let me select just a portion of the BB Code. And if I post the entire code, the photo doesn't show up - just a link to Flikr.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this a new limitation on Flikr?

The way I post pics is directly from the desktop of my computer.
The 'old way', for lack of a better term, you needed to have the pic
posted elsewhere. Then, I used photobucket. I assume it was similar
to flikr.

It is NOT intuitive here, how to post a pic.  Basically , have it ready on
your desktop and the page here, as you are building your post, will
let you attach it.

It takes some getting used to.  To say the least.

Problem is, I'm on a Mac and it uses a new and incompatible file format.  There's a bunch of extra steps to convert it to JPEG.

Huge hassle.

Mac's are beyond my expertise.

I would suggest asking in the Woodworking Photography thread.

Fred Kingston is very good about Mac processing and files.
