Heavy duty dining table leveling feet?
#5
Question
My trestle table is almost ready for delivery.  I just learned about installing adjustable leveling feet/pads under the feet but don't know how to find the right set.  Or even what to search for.  The installation of the type I'm thinking of requires a forstner bit hole for the pad to recess into, then a deeper hole drilled into the door for a threaded metal insert that the pad screws into.

The table weighs just shy of 200 pounds assembled.  So I figure I want a set of feet that can handle at least 650 pounds, in case somebody climbs on top of it.

Can somebody here point me in the right direction?

Search for threaded rubber feet and you'll find plenty. Most don't have loads listed (it's basically screw pullout strength, just in the other direction) as they will be well over normal use.

I usually look for standard thread sizes and a low profile (so it doesn't lift too far off the floor) but there are dozens of identical Chinesium brands available.

These are the type I normally get, not the slightly wedged shape above:

That's exactly what I was looking for, FS7. They can be recessed into the foot if not needed.

Appreciate it!
