My Son simply picked it up, and carried it up the stairs, by himself....claimed it only felt like 50 pounds, to him...

After I had cleared out the location to sit it in..both of us move the chest into it's new home...
   
Then I filled it up..
   
Yes...the only part of the inside to see any sort of finish was the underside of the lid....
   
Then just close and latch the lid.....Wonder how long before Frodo goes snooping in this.....Hobbit Tool Chest?

Still have 4 planks of this 1x6 Spalted maple....may see about a project for July?

We'll see...
