Have you tried re-ironing it down? I have had very good luck with iron on edging but it has to be gotten hot enough and pressed down long enough to adhere good. Some edging needs that extra heat and then the glue stays liquid a little to long. In this case I follow up the iron with a wooden block housed in an old sock to hold it down for a couple of seconds while the glue sets. Also I always make sure the edge is sanded flat and the sanding dust is blown off.
