Quality hinges and hardware
#7
I have been asked to make some blanket chests and and other items requiring hinges/hardware and I was wondering what you all considered to be some of the best? These blanket chests, boxes, and small cabinets will be heirlooms so I want to use hardware that will last.
Thanks, Jim

You won't go too far wrong with Brusso hardware.

Agree ^^

Also Sanderson makes knife hinges and miscellaneous hardware. Probably not for every project, but a great option and always high quality.

You might want to take a look a Whitechapel, Ltd. https://whitechapel-ltd.com They have a wide range of very high quality traditional furniture hardware. Not cheap, but really good stuff.
