Uhhh, this is a woodworking site.  Anyone who doesn’t sharpen pencils on the lathe or, in a hurry, on the jointer should evaluate his/her commitment to the hobby… (unless a proponent of the neanderthal philosophy, then paring with your Two Cherries chisel, a shooting board, or your  Scary Sharp set-up is acceptable).

i think there was a how to write up in fine woodworking on this.
