One store had trays marked $5 each...bought 2 chisels..

Had to sort through the tray. to find the handles that matched the chisels..

Store just down the street, had a cutting gauge for $4...

Has a blade, instead of a pin...but, has no markings...

Had to take the Boss to Wall E World...picked up this...

Was getting a bit low...figured it might come in handy...
Just under $20 for the day....not too bad.

Store that had the cutting gauge....also had a Stanley No. 4-1/2     for $65?   Hmmm, I had just bought a #4-1/2c, Type 11 a couple weeks ago, for $80?    $15 extra for the grooves?

Cutting gauge will take a lot to fix up....maybe even new wood parts....

As for the 2 HSB Co. Chisels "Cut Easy" brand..

Handles have been fitted a little and are secure...Metal is shiny again....bevel is now sharpened to Unicorn Level...

Might come in handy?
