Rehab work needed
#3
As this thing has set long enough in the shop...

The sole will need sanded clean...

Iron is not the "prettiest gal" on the block...

Started to give a new edge....

Hardware LOOKS like it was made by Stanley..

Will know more once they are polished up...nothing was rusted in place...
Then I place a Stanley No. 80 behind this scraper...

And, some things just don't match up....Rusty & Krusty is slightly smaller, and lighter....Hmmmm?

Stay tuned...

Over an hour in the Rehab Shop last night....

Bolts and the keeper plate...

Hmm...seems to be a Stanley SW Model?

Until an OEM No. 80 scraper blade shows up...

This will have to do for the back...and..

The beveled edge...have since added the burr..

Sole was give a ride on the beltsander...and then on the stones...

Then a test drive on a stick of Ash...

Seemed to work quite well...so it is now hanging up in the Tool Cabinet...along with the other No. 80 Scrapers...Once a paint brush loaded up with 3in1 oil had been brushed on, and then wiped down...

Thanks for looking in..( BTW...I spent $30 yesterday...nine 1x6 x 5' Ash planks, and four 1 x 6 x 6' Maple Planks came home with me...letting them get used to the shop , while I research a project for them..stay tuned..)
