Just thought id share.  Excuse the messy bench in the middle of a couple of projects.  I drew in solidworks and 3d printed this bench dog.  I also printed a small wedge to help open up the spring slot.  I was surprised how well it works.    Next time I need a bench dog I know what to do.

Very clever! Always envious of those skill sets, 3D graphics and printing - amazing! Would it be useful to include a flat surface near the top?
