For a miter, I would do the following:
Wipe with acetone
Skim coat both faces of the miters with TB.
Let it dry 5-10 minutes or even 15.
Then, glue both faces and clamp.
Let dry in clamps overnight.
IIWM, when dry, I'd add slipfeathers to the miters.
