RE: finish for a kitchen table - Kansas City Fireslayer - 12-08-2016 I would use a big T handle foam pad applicator or "paint pad". I know you can buy them in 6-9" widths. They actually have a pretty fine bristle on them. You'll see hardwood flooring guys use them to "cut in" around the walls before using their large squeegee type applicators for the big open areas. You can apply finish very quickly with one, even a waterborne finish. If it were me, I'd pre-rinse it with water to remove any wet fibers and "prime" it for the waterborne finish. I would even try it with the spray only "Enduro" but I've only sprayed it. The only thing I'd try to watch as best as you could is the wet mil thickness. |
