I have a local peddlers mall that has a plywood booth. The owner must have a cabinet shop or gets cut-offs from a cabinet shop. The booth usually has very nice quality domestic ply with poplar core in maple, birch, cherry, and oak to include QS white oak. I have made a few furniture pieces from the cherry ply. Not sure what it would cost to ship you what you need, but the ply would be a lot cheaper than online stores.
