It's very quick during the assembly of the mock up plywood pieces where the assistant begins tying the line. The center support coming up from the bottom is the actual weight bearing structure. It is higher than the center piece that comes down from the top. The fishing line starts from the bottom center support and holds up the center support that comes down from the top. Then the line is routed is some fashion around the corners in a manner which puts counter-directional tension in a specific path. It keep the weight of the top effectively transferred to that line from the bottom center support to the top center support. RE: Just found John Malecki - gMike - 05-08-2020 Looks like this years version of the river table. RE: Just found John Malecki - joe1086 - 05-08-2020 Pretty cool visual effect. RE: Just found John Malecki - Alan S - 05-08-2020 The line is probably stronger than the diagonal brace that the top is hanging from. Another way of saying what WxMan pointed out is that the weight is held by the center line, and the others are just keeping it balanced RE: Just found John Malecki - K. L.
