Ditto on that. If I had to ask for one upgrade on my G0513X2, it would be the a brake. A motor brake would awesome, but I would settle for the foot brake. I often finish a cut and have to wait for the blade to spin down. I spend a lot of time waiting for the saw to spin down. Even the foot brake would speed up the work pace.
I don't think you went wrong or will be sorry about your choice.
