Will's project was the hands down winner in that group and he had the best video. He seemed to enjoy woodworking and had some skill.
The two other's left a lot to be desired. The guy that made the slab coffee table, while a decent idea, totally lost me with the inlays making it look like the wood went through and then mortised it and screwed it to attach it.
Just mortise it through and wedge it with the curly koa...... The other guy I could barely watch. His whole thing about not liking wood....
While I appreciate his honesty, why was he chosen? His project was just mailed in, IMHO. Really tough to see someone with no passion for the challenge and treat that gorgeous slab like it was pine.

Cool idea though Shiraz, enjoyable to watch. Next time let the forums vote too!
