Great job on the chest, Jonathan. I'm just today using milk paint for the first time and it's great to see what results are possible (though now the bar has been set higher for my results

The side discussion on the chest lock is also timely. I've been looking on the LV site for a lock for my ATC in progress and I'm having difficulty spending the $50+ for their large chest lock. Yours looks like it would be a more palatable option for me.

Thanks for sharing.

Ted

Yup, would not have been my first choice, but then its not for me. I once painted her bedroom a yellow several shades brighter!

Thanks

Yellow: The color of happiness, wisdom and imagination, Yellow is chosen by the mentally adventurous, searching for novelty and self-fulfillment. Yellow usually goes with a sunny and shrewd personality, with a good business head and a strong sense of humor. It is the color of intellectuality and all things to do with the mind. Yellow folks are usually clear and precise thinkers who have a good opinion of their own mental capacities and who have lofty ideals. They may at times tend to shun responsibility, preferring freedom of thought and action.

Actually I kinda like yellar too.

Very nice Jonathan. Can you explain what the Tweleve stands for.

Chris Schwarz has a DVD out on a "6-board chest".

Jonathan said he did not have wide enough boards, so he needed 12 boards instead.

200 years ago, wide boards would have been easy to find, today, not so much.
