Those bushings usually have an oversized O.D. and an undersized I.D. and will have to be reamed to fit the shaft and turned down to fit the blade, plus it cant be over about 1/8" in thickness..
Actually, a "shoulder washer" to fit the shaft AND the blade could be machined pretty easily..I did that recently so as to fit some diamond lapping plates to my Veritas MKII..which is 1/2" X 1/4"...They are about .090" thick so the shoulder was slightly under that thickness but the flange was 1" dia aluminum.

Thanks everybody. The Freud bushing seems to be just the thing I need. In the meantime I cut a slice from some 1/2" aluminum tubing I had lying around. It just about does the job.
