Dave RE: Jet Riving knife adjustment - Stytooner - 11-06-2018 Which model of Jet do you have? RE: Jet Riving knife adjustment - DaveBozeman - 11-06-2018 Post didn't take.. odd.. trying again Xacta.. thanks RE: Jet Riving knife adjustment - Stytooner - 11-08-2018 Check out paage 11 of the manual here. https://content.jettools.com/assets/manuals/708674_man_EN.pdf I know you have probably done that, but what issues are you having? These are pretty simple mechanisms. They have some set screws for adjusting alignment and a cam clamp to lock the knife or guard in place. Is the guard way out of alignment? If so are blade stabilizers installed? RE: Jet Riving knife adjustment - Stytooner - 11-08-2018 You might also want to check that the knife is not too thick for the blade. To do this easily, you can do a short stop cut on some material. Then slip the slot you just cut over the riving knife itself to insure there is clearance. If there isn't, you would need a different knife or blade. |
