Thanks RE: WTB Stanley 50 Cutter holding screw - Phil S. - 01-14-2019 I see the guy I think you're talking about on eBay. $48.50 for a screw seems like one. St. James Bay Tool Co. supposedly makes repro parts for the Stanley 50, including the narrow blade clamp screw and the equally elusive chip deflector. I don't see those on their eBay vendor site, but they are listed on their wonky website here - https://www.stjamesbaytoolco.com/ but no price is listed. They list a contact number though and might be worth a call. My 50 is missing those parts as well so I'd be interested in hearing how you make out. Phil RE: WTB Stanley 50 Cutter holding screw - TheCabinetmaker - 01-15-2019 Phil, Talked to St. James Bay. He doesn't have any now but will run some in 2 months. He will run them sooner if more people call him and want one. He's charging $12.00 plus shipping. If anyone is looking for one of these call him at 800-574-2589 and let him know, if he gets enough calls he will run them sooner. |
