found a used milwaukee close quarter drill and a half inch milwaukee drill on e bay yesterday. Look well used but thought I'd give 'em a shot for $40.

Use some compressed air every once-in-awhile to blow out the dust on your drill. The dust from your sanding gets into the bearings and that's part of the problem. I have a Makita I've been using for 4+ years without any issues whatsoever.

Yeah, I usually blow it out every day

I blow it out every time I sand to.  I feel it keeps it cooler while running and will make it last longer.  I know why I just do not remember.
