I have seen that episode a couple of times...I also have the book the presenter published...One of the reasons it interests me is because I remember my grandfather making both fan birds and fans out of apple crates....My mom had several he made that were in my sister's possession until they were destroyed when her house burned. It's just a matter of getting a "round to it"....at the rate I am going it will never happen...But I do have some nice white cedar on hand just for that purpose...so who knows?? |
