Basically they all suck ;-) at venting. Even if they didn't, they do not extend out far enough to catch the front burners.
Its WAY too big. We don't cook in microwaves, all we ever do is defrost or microwave small items.
When we ditch our current microwave, we plan to replace it with a bonafide vent and get a small countertop version.
